Joining the Fencing Club is easy. No experience is necessary and we supply all equipment! As you spend more time in the club, you move up through the more advanced classes. We end every quarter with a test to determine your eligibility for the next class.

Classes start at the beginning of each quarter. Availability is limited, to ensure your place, please make sure to attend the first class.

Meeting Times, Summer 2008

Cal Poly Fencing will not meet during Summer 2008.

If you are in the San Luis Obispo area and are interested in fencing, you may want to visit Highlanders Fencing in downtown San Luis Obispo.

For incoming students attending Week of Welcome (WOW), keep an eye out for our booth at the Farmers' Market on Thursday and the Block Party on Friday during WOW week.

We will provide basic equipment (foil, jacket, glove, and mask) once dues are paid. Dues are $20.00 for the first quarter in the club, and $30.00 for each quarter following.
